Description
So there is a legend about sunflowers I didn't know. Apparently it's a Greek legend about a young girl in a garden. So this young girl goes out to her Garden one day and looks up into the sky. There in the bright light of the sun she sees a glimpse of Apollo riding on his Chariot with his horses drawn circling above in the heavens. She saw that Apollo was beautiful and wanted to see more of him so each day for thirty days she goes back to the garden and looks to the sky in search of seeing him again. Apollo began to grow impatient with the young girl as she began to disobey her mother to try and get a glimpse of him riding by I the heavens. "You must always obey your mother" Apollo Says. Then an arrow shot down from the Heaven and right into the young girls head. Transforming her Eyes to be big and her hair stood straight around them. Her feet plants into the ground sprouting roots in search of water. Her body takes the form of a stalk forever turning the young child into a sunflower. By morning when the sun rises she looks out to the east until the end of the day into the west where then she will rest being able to see Apollo forever more in search of.
Well that's just the story I read about a sunflower girl. Which I have now passed the legend onto you... Hope you enjoy.
